I started this business in 2010 while studying art at Central Michigan University. My desire to create was strongly paired with independent work habits, and a respect for being a productive part of society. Developing my business and creative skills together allows me to sell handcrafted products that are unique and original at a competitive value. My functional pottery and woodwork can be found at the Durham Craft Market, NC Craft Gallery in Carrboro, or other events listed above. For a personal experience with my work I encourage people to visit Cocoa Cinnamon on Foster street in Durham. The cups I made for their coffee, tea, and drinking chocolate represent one of the most enjoyable projects I have worked on in my maturing career.
My progress as a potter can in large be attributed to my apprenticeship for master potter Mark Hewitt. I finished my time at Hewitt Pottery in April 2014, after nearly two years of intense training under the guidance of this very successful independent craftsman. I look forward to focusing on the growth of my own business, and exploring what the future holds for me.
